YOUR FIRST COMMUNION WITH THE SEA

This event is the largest Oyster festival on the West Coast drawing over 250,000 people to date. Over half a million succulent oysters have willingly sacrificed themselves over the years. The unique combination of oysters and stout is supported by a great cast of live music.

ACTIVITIES IN THE PARK

In between the music acts check out the Shuck and Suck Competition, Cooking Demos and Art Exhibits.

PARKING & SHUTTLES

Parking available at UCSF Parnassus, 500 Parnassus Avenue. There will be a free shuttle service too and from the event to the parking garage.

KEEP OUR PARK GREEN & CLEAN

We make every effort to make Oysterfest a truly Green event. All our containers and utensils are biodegradable or recyclable. Please use the trash recepticles provided to keep the grounds looking great during and after the event.

HAVE A STRESS-FREE FEST WHEN YOU FIGURE OUT THE IN'S & OUT'S 
FOOD & BEVERAGE
There will be four distinct Oyster areas at the event. Oysters on the half shell from CALIFORNIA & BAJA, THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, THE ATLANTIC NORTHEAST AND COOKED OYSTERS.
Though the emphasis is on oysters there will be great food selections of all kinds from restaurants throughout San Francisco.
To wash it all down we'll have Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks and Smithwick's Pale Ale, a variety of wines and a Full Liquor Bar.
